Thu Dau Mot town Center for Land Fund Development reaches initial efficiency

Founded one year ago with main task of site clearance, Thu Dau Mot town Center for Land Fund Development has contributed to spur usage of works.

With over 80 employees, Thu Dau Mot town Center for Land Fund Development has a main task of solving problems to hasten works’ construction progress.

Till mid-August, 2011, the center compensated expenses for 1,164 households and 206 supplement families with the total value of more than VND169.4bil and solved 364 complaints. Of these, all complaints in 2011 were solved drastically. This is an encouraging result that the center leaders are very proud of.

In addition, the center has set up a steering board of compensation and site clearance to persuade people in affected areas to cooperate together and so on.

Until now, the provincial People’s Committee issued many concrete decisions based on Decree 69 on “compensation price is equal to prices issued by provincial People’s Committee”. In reality, many cases did not obey the regulation, so the center’s employees actively solved the problems arising. The result of the initiative is proven by the success of works including Pham Ngu Lao road, Nguyen Duc Thuan road, Nguen Dinh Chieu road and among others.
