Thuan An-based VBSP Transaction Office disburses nearly VND36billion in loan for 855 households

In the first three months of 2019, Thuan An town-based Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP)’s Transaction Office disbursed nearly VND36billion in loan for 855 poor households. The figure has brought the unit’s total outstanding loans so far to approximately VND293billion for nearly 5,680 households.

Dong Quoc Khai, Director of the town-based Transaction Office’s VBSP said that the unit will continue coordinating with relevant units to effectively carry out preferential loan programs. The unit will also further disseminate credit policies, especially new regulations on lending amount and term increase for poor, near-poor households and those just escaping poverty under the Decision No.12/QD-HDQT dated February 22, 2019 of the VBSP’s Board of Directors, the Prime Minister’s Decree No.100/2015/ND-CP regulating social housing lending dated October 20, 2015…
