Thuan An brings 184 martyrs' remains to provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery and families for care, management

Early December 7, provincial Steering Committee for searching, gathering and identifying the remains of provincial martyrs (called briefly as Steering Committee 515), led by Colonel Nguyen Dinh Chuan, Political Commissar of provincial Military Command, Deputy Head of provincial Steering Standing Committee 515, inspected data to create search maps and gather additional martyrs' remains for the first phase of 2023 at Thuan An city’s Military Command.

According to reports, there were 1,532 martyrs buried initially in Thuan An city. To date, 184 martyrs have been searched for and brought to provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery and their families for care and management. Speaking at the inspection session, Colonel Nguyen Dinh Chuan emphasized the search, collection and identification of martyrs' remains to deeply demonstrate Vietnamese people’s moral principles of "drinking water, remember its source" and "paying debt of gratitude" and the respect and gratitude of the living for the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. This was also the content determined in the resolution leading the implementation of tasks of provincial Military Party Committee. Colonel Nguyen Dinh Chuan proposed Thuan An city’s Military Command Party Committee to further lead and direct more closely and assign specific tasks to each agency and unit to implement this work quickly, accurately and completely.
