Thuan An kicks off 2nd open billiards champs

Thuan An town’s Center for Culture-Information and Sports has just held the second open billiards championships 2016.

This year’s tournament absorbed 73 players from billiards clubs in localities, including Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong and HCM city. Apart from the host team Thuan An, other localities of Binh Duong from towns of Di An, Ben Cat, Tan Uyen, TDM city and districts of Phu Giao and Bau Bang attended the tournament.

Players competed in a knock-out format throughout the three-cushion carom billiards tournament. Eventually, the organizers awarded first prize to Cao Phan Triet Luan of the host team Thuan An. Second prize went to Nguyen Van Hien of Phu Giao. The organizers also presented two third prizes together a prize for the best player.
