On September 20, a delegation of Thuan An city’s People's Council visited the local social support facilities and gave gifts for orphans and disabled children being raised here on the occasion of the 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival.
The delegation surveyed the situation of caring for and nurturing social support beneficiaries at 3 facilities, namely Great Unity house in Hung Dinh ward; Tu Tam shelter in Vinh Phu ward and Bo De Dao Trang pagoda in Binh Chuan ward. In each visiting place, the delegation visited the facility's operations as well as learning about difficulties during the operational process for timely support in the coming time.
The delegation also shared and encouraged heads of the facilities to continue making efforts to overcome all difficulties, lovingly care for and nurture disabled and orphaned children so that they can feel warm love and have learning conditions to rise up and integrate into the community. The delegation also gave each facility a gift, including VND 2 million in cash together with milk, moon cakes, and lanterns so that they could have more conditions to organize joyful Mid-Autumn activities for children.
