Thuan An, Phu Giao commence construction of works to eliminate substandard houses
On April 4, An Thanh ward’s Steering Committee for the removal of substandard houses, in collaboration with Thuan An city’s Steering Committee for the removal of substandard houses and Thuan An city, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of two new houses for the policy beneficiary family of Dao Thi To and the poor family of Vuu Van Bo in Thanh Hoa B and Thanh Loc quarters.
The total funding for the house construction is VND 220 million, with VND 120 million from the city’s Gratitude Fund, VND 80 million from the city’s Red Cross Society and VND 20 million from An Thanh ward’s Steering Committee for the removal of substandard houses.
*On the same day, An Binh commune’s Steering Committee for the removal of substandard houses in Phu Giao district also held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of houses for two families in the commune.
Accordingly, the commune’s Steering Committee conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for the house construction for Ly Thi Cung in Binh Thang hamlet and Nguyen Van Truong in Binh Hoa hamlet. Each house received financial support of VND 100 million for construction.
The “Join Hands to Eliminate Substandard Houses” program is one of the practical activities that demonstrate the attention of the Party, State and the community to disadvantaged families, contributing to poverty reduction, ensuring social welfare.
