Thuan An posthumously bestows “heroic mother” title to 15 women

Early April 12, Thuan An town held a ceremony to posthumously bestow the “heroic Vietnamese mother” title to 15 local women (photo).

At the ceremony, Nguyen Van Chau, Chairman of the town’s People’s Committee expressed his deep gratitude to heroic Vietnamese mothers, war invalids, relatives of martyrs for their great sacrifice and contribution to the national revolutionary cause.

It is known that the town now has a total of 206 mothers awarded and posthumously bestowed with the “heroic Vietnamese mother” title. Among them, 7 are still alive.
