Thuan An reviews 20 years of organizing great national unity festival

Early June 27, Thuan An city’s Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to summarize 20 years of organizing the great national unity festivals in the 2003-2023 period.

Over the past time, the organization of the great national unity festivals in Thuan An city mobilized the synergy of the whole political system, upholding the people's mastery role in participating in building the Party, government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations. It is known that during the past 20 years, all 56 quarters and hamlets in Thuan An city organized the great national unity festivals, with the participation of 224,000 officials, Party members and people. The annual average rate of households achieving the title of cultural family was 93% and there were 89% of quarters and hamlets with the title of cultural ones. The festivals propagandized and mobilized people from all strata to implement the Party's guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, participate in patriotic emulation campaigns, realize the campaign of "For the poor"...

At the conference, the city’s People's Committee rewarded 32 collectives and 48 individuals with typical achievements over the past years. The city’s Fatherland Front Committee mobilized organizations and individuals to give 10 gifts for disadvantaged households.
