Thuan An’s total retail value estimated at over VND 81.02 trillion

In the first 9 months of 2023, Thuan An city’s sector of trade and services continued changing positively.

Accordingly, the city effectively implemented a program on market price stabilization, reserving goods and preventing scarcity of goods and price increase. The city’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services revenue was estimated at more than VND 81.02 trillion, up 19.3% over the same period. Currently, the city is home to about 32,800 households operating in the field of trade-services, 1 supermarket, 2 shopping centers, 22 markets and 61 convenience stores.

Also during the past nine months, the city issued 3,211 business registration certificates to households with total capital of VND 549.8 billion while terminating 671 business registration cases. In addition, the city regularly inspected business activities to handle speculation, smuggling, trade fraud, poor quality goods and ensured food hygiene and safety as well as environmental hygiene.
