Thuan An’s Youth Union actively gets involved in environmental hygiene

Thuan An town’s Youth Union promoted the “Green Sunday”, “Voluntary Saturday” campaigns among 36 local Youth Unions in the first months of 2013.

Accordingly, the local Youth Unions actively got involved in many significant activities for a green, clean and beautiful environment, including tidying up streets; planting green trees around monuments and in the precinct of hamlets’ offices, State agencies; collecting water hyacinth; eradicating and removing illegal advertising boards…These significant activities not only contributed to building up a pure living environment, but also raised the local people and Youth Union’s awareness of environmental protection and climate change prevention.
