Thuan An town Taichi Society celebrates its 3rd founding anniversary

Thuan An town Taichi Society just held a get-together to mark its 3rd founding anniversary (May 15, 2011-2014). The society now has 10 taichi clubs across communes and wards, 17 clubs at quarters and hamlets.

  Typical taichi families receive merit certificates.

The society has completed universalization of taichi to 3 out of 10 communes and wards. As of the end of 2013, the number of members of the society has increased nearly 500. Until now, Thuan An has basically set up taichi clubs across communes and wards. In order to meet requirement of development, the society opened 2 training classes on taichi coaches. In addition, the society held exchanges and excursions to localities nationwide to help members accumulate more experiences.

 

The ceremony honored typical taichi families and wrapped up the 2nd training class on taichi coaches. The 2nd training class included 26 members, 4 of whom won excellent results. In addition, the society honored 9 typical taichi families, 3 individuals gaining excellent achievements of development for the society.

 

Moreover, the society granted a record to Lai Thieu ward-based Huynh Van Rang, the oldest people climbing artificial mounts. The 2014 taichi festival attracted nearly 40 taichi clubs from HCMC, Dong Nai, Long An and Tien Giang.
