Thuy Dung of Binh Duong ranks second at 5th stage of national women’s cycling journey

National team member Nguyen Thi That of Hat Gao Ngoc Troi won the fifth stage of the National Women’s Cycling Tournament – the An Giang Television Cup 2014 from Vinh Long city to Vi Thanh with a total length of 80 km.

Nguyen Thi That finished the first stage in a time of 2:27:51, reaching an average speed of 32.465km. Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung of Binh Duong Water Supply-Drainage and Environment Company (Biwase) and Geneleva Nadezhda of Kazakhstan came second and third, respectively.

After five stages, Nguyen Thi That kept holding the green and yellow jerseys with a total time of 9:23:34. It was followed by Nguyen Thuy Dung and Phan Thi Lieu of Hat Gao Ngoc Troi.

Today, July 19, cyclists will take part in the final stage from Rach Gia city to Long Xuyen city with a total length of 77km.
