To begin construction of Becamex - Binh Phuoc industrial and urban complex 

Morning September 14^th, Binh Phuoc province People’s Committee held the groundbreaking ceremony of Becamex - Binh Phuoc industrial and urban complex. The project was invested by Becamex IDC in collaboration with Song Be Rubber Limited Company and Becamex Binh Phuoc Infrastructure Development JSC.

Mr. Mai The Trung (3^rd left), Member of Party Central Committee and Secretary of Binh Duong province Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tan Hung (3^rd right), Member of Party Central Committee and Secretary of Binh Phuoc province Party Committee offered flowers to investors signing investment memorandum with Becamex - Binh Phuoc industrial and urban complex.

Participants of the ceremony were: Mr. Le Kha Phieu, former General Secretary of Central Committee of Vietnam Communist Party; Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, former Politburo Member - former President; Mr. Mai The Trung, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Duong province Party Committee; and leaders of provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc province.

Promoting advantages in geographic location, transportation and technical infrastructure of the key southern economic zone, especially utilizing Becamxe IDC’s experiences in infrastructure development, investment attraction, Becamex IDC, Song Be Rubber Company and Becamex Binh Phuoc Company jointly performed the project Becamex - Binh Phuoc industrial and urban complex. The project was constructed on an area of ​​4633.28 hectares in Chon Thanh town, Chon Thanh district, Binh Phuoc province with total investment of VND20.000 billion.

The project was consistent with regional, sectorial planning approved by the Prime Minister. The project had 220 kV electricity line, was adjacent to Phuoc Hoa reservoir, which were advantages to building electricity transformer stations serving businesses. Additionally, the project location had an abundant surface water resource to satisfy production needs of businesses, connect with seaports, international airports to become a center for good exchange between Highlands and Mekong Delta...

Leaders of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc province eyed the signing between investors and Becamex - Binh Phuoc industrial and urban complex.

Expectedly, the project will create stable jobs for about 200,000 labors, promote rapid transfer of Binh Phuoc province economic structure towards industrialization – service – agriculture, making Binh Phuoc province become a modern industrialized province till 2020.

At the ceremony, 3 enterprises representing industries of wood processing, interior decoration, auxiliary industry, including Keiser Timber Company, Vietnam Garment Company, Swan Company signed an investment memorandum worth $150 million in Becamex - Binh Phuoc industrial and urban complex.
