To construct the people’s unity

In recent years, Binh Duong provincial Fatherland Front Committee has coordinated with the provincial People's Committee, along with innovation and effective practices from grassroots and member organizations, to successfully carry out political tasks. At the 10th provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, for the term 2024-2029, the units presented speeches aimed at further enhancing the spirit of unity, responsibility, and successfully implementing the resolutions of the new term.

To implement grassroots democracy

During the past term, the provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province have closely coordinated in organizing the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; at the same time, they have coordinated in handling citizens' affairs and settling complaints and denunciations. Thanks to that, the situation of complaints and denunciations in the province has had many positive changes, with no "hotspots" and the annual resolution rate of letters reaching over 95%. In addition, propaganda and dissemination of laws are also important factors in coordination. The integration of propaganda with competitive movements has created a strong response in the community, contributing to raising the legal awareness of the people.

Many models and effective methods in the province's frontline work have been implemented and effectively carried out by member organizations and institutions. A typical example is the provincial Labor Union's implementation of legal propaganda in enterprises, workers' activities, and social welfare, housing policies, protection of legitimate rights and interests of workers. The work of propaganda, dissemination of laws, and care for workers is always coordinated by trade unions at all levels with the Fatherland Front, political-social organizations, functional departments, and localities to implement extensively.

For the work of taking care of life, implementing social security policies, trade unions at all levels focus on ensuring rights and benefits; continuously organize activities and programs to support workers with special difficult circumstances, bringing many benefits to union members, workers and leaving a mark of trade unions. To promote the achieved results, trade unions at all levels in the province will continue to coordinate with state agencies, the Fatherland Front, political-social organizations, economic organizations, and social organizations to participate in implementing grassroots democracy, promoting the right to self-determination, combining harmonious and legitimate interests, and promoting propaganda and arousing pride in the tradition of the nation and the desire for development.

Union and unity

The mass movement to protect national security in the province is always of great concern and direction by the provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and local authorities, with smooth coordination between departments, agencies, and organizations. Among them, the provincial Police and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, together with their member organizations, implement Program No. 07 to enhance the mass movement to protect national security in the new situation.

In implementing the program, the police force has coordinated with the Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations, departments, unions, political and social organizations to promote propaganda, mobilize and enhance awareness among officials, soldiers, members, and people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, state laws, and participate in the nationwide movement to protect national security. Various models in the mass movement to protect national security, combat crime, and social evils are widely and effectively implemented by the Fatherland Front, member organizations, and all levels of police forces in the province. They create a spreading effect and attract the participation of a large number of people. Many models are being replicated nationwide by the Ministry of Public Security, such as "Safe residential areas for security and fire prevention", the project "Socialization of security cameras", "Self-managed security and order teams in enterprises", "Crime prevention clubs".

Strengthening the coordination work to promote the movement of the whole people in safeguarding national security is closely linked to campaigns and movements such as "The whole people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "The whole country joins forces to build new rural areas", "The whole people unite to build cultural life", "Skillful people's movement", "National Day of Safeguarding National Security". Thereon, the active, positive, and creative role of the people in preventing, fighting, and suppressing all kinds of crimes and social evils, building and consolidating the people's security posture has been promoted; developing the patriotic emulation movement, creating the comprehensive strength of the great national unity bloc.
