On June 11, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism holds a ceremony to launch the whole people to practice swimming to prevent children from drowning in Binh Duong province in 2023 in an annual activity of Binh Duong province to help people have more knowledge about swimming. At the same time, it helps students avoid drowning on going into the water alone.

In addition, these are also useful and cool playgrounds in the early summer days of 2023 for the children.

The launching ceremony was carried out for the purpose of propagating the benefits and effects of swimming practice, safety skills in the water environment, and at the same time mobilizing the entire population to actively practice swimming to improve their health, stature, physical strength, and disease prevention and control for children and the community. One goal targeted by the Organizing Committee is to develop the movement of swimming teaching and learning for drowning prevention and control, contributing to gradually reducing drowning accidents. The launch ceremony in 2023 includes the main contents of "Responding to Action Month for Children", "Joining hands to prevent child accidents, injuries and drowning", “Learning to swim to prevent drowning”, "Learning to swim to improve health and develop physical strength and stature", “Learning to swim for safety in the water environment”, "All people participate in preventing children drowning", "All people actively learn to swim to prevent drowning", and "The whole family can swim."

According to the sharing of the Organizing Committee, of 7 main contents implemented in the 2023 launching ceremony, residents and students will master at least two swimming skills of level 1 and level 2 before they can confidently go into the water alone. Right at the launching ceremony, the participating units send representatives to participate in the response swimming part for students with a short distance of 25 meter swimming. Right after that, the groups participate in the competitions included in the program.

Those are the exams mainly for the coaches who teach classes at the swimming pools in order to equip students with more knowledge. In addition, the Organizing Committee also wants to equip more knowledge and skills for local people in charge to provide people with useful information about swimming and safety requirements when swimming in the aquatic environment.

Hopefully, after participating in the launching ceremony for all people to practice swimming, prevent and prevent child drowning in Binh Duong province 2023, people and students in the whole province will be more confident when entering the water as well as safe swimming pools.
