In addition to propaganda activities to prevent and fight against the epidemic, instruct people to install Bluezone application, Binh Duong Youth Union also organize activities to support, share difficulties, and renew activities to be suitable for the Covid-19 prevention and control in the province.

Youth Union of An Phu Ward (Thuan An City) cooperates with Youth Union of Mobile Police Battalion (Southeastern Cluster) to hold a love-sharing program.

Support given at quarantine areas

At the beginning of August, Provincial Youth Union and Youth Federation visited and presented many gifts of essential items to soldiers and officials on duty at quarantine areas in Bau Bang District and Ben Cat Town. Youth Union Town of Lai Uyen Town (Bau Bang District) also visited and sent small gifts of beverages, fruit, cakes to soldiers, medical staff on duty in the district isolation areas.

Dr. Nguyen Dinh Thuong, Youth Union Secretary of Bau Bang District Medical Center, said: "These are not only meaningful, most practical gifts on hot sunny days as today but also the tremendous spiritual motivation, the motivation for all staff on duty here to accomplish even better the assigned tasks". It is known that the quarantine area of Bau Bang District has 12 youth members doing missions.

To share difficulties with the community

To share difficulties with young workers and people affected by the epidemic, Youth Unions in the province have also organized visits and give gifts to these people. For example, Youth Union of Lai Thieu ward (Thuan An City) called for donations and gave milk, cereals, breakfast to poor children, young workers; Youth Union of An Phu ward in cooperation with Youth Union of Mobile Police Battalion (Southeastern Cluster) to hold a program to present 100 gifts to poor households, policy families, and disadvantaged young workers. Meanwhile, Di An City Youth Union - Youth Federation in collaboration with An Binh ward Youth Union organized free examination, health consultation and free medicine for more than 50 young workers, ethnic minority youth, religious youth, elderly people having difficult circumstances in An Binh ward; presented 50 gifts to young workers, ethnic minority youth in An Binh ward...

Various online contests

Instead of organizing events with mass gatherings as previously, Youth Unions in the province has transformed its activities into online programs. In particular, online contests are now taking place on social networks. For example, Youth Union of provincial Agencies and Enterprises' bloc assigned Youth Union of Department of Information and Communications to hold a photo contest "Youth of Binh Duong provincial Agencies and Enterprises' bloc together repel the Covid-19" by recording beautiful moments of youth members in anti-epidemic work; activities that help children, people and businesses overcome difficulties caused by the epidemic or photos of youth branches installing Bluezone mobile app. Meanwhile, Youth Union of Thu Dau Mot City is launching an online competition named "Spring Run". The registration period is from 20 August to 10 September. Competition time is from 1 September to 30 September. In this contest, athletes will use Strava app, or update their smart phones with tracklog to capture their daily jogging results. The rule is that athletes have to complete multiple runs within 30 days from the registration date with various distances: 30, 40, 50 and 60km. Youth Union of Bau Bang District held an online contest about ASEAN. Contestants visit the website myaloha.vn to take the test quiz. 348 contestants participated in the competition...

Besides, taking advantage of the power of social networks, Youth Unions in the province has taken part in a movement to post their photos of encouraging, showing family, friends, colleagues to install Bluezone app, contributing to the strong, widespread effect to bring this mobile application to the more people.
