In the coming years, the World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC Binh Duong New City) aims to meet ASEAN - MICE standards (workshops, conferences, etc.), be capable of organizing international exhibitions as well as meetings, seminars to establish extensive connections with the global ecosystem of WTCs. Then the province can gain experience in building operation management and stimulating development

Efficient connection

WTC Binh Duong New City - a member of the World Trade Center Association, was formed with the mission of developing facilities and services, in order to attract urban trade and services, is a complex of 250,000 square meters in Binh Duong. Although it was formed during the Covid-19 period, construction activities were carried out. In addition, trade and service promotion, meetings with domestic and foreign partners to attract big events are still performed continuously.

Up to now, WTC Binh Duong New City has completed the facilities of WTC EXPO (international exhibition center) and is completing the WTC Tower (office building). Infrastructure has been completed to ensure professional and world-class operations. In the past 2022, WTC Binh Duong New City successfully organized 300 domestic and international events, and leading brands have chosen WTC Tower for their new offices.

In 2022, WTC Binh Duong New City successfully assisted the organization of major events, such as: Horasis India Meeting 2022, announcement ceremony of the world’s Top 7 Intelligent Community (ICF), Korean business meeting (Meet Korea), and National Innovation Startup Day (TECHFEST Vietnam 2022).

Besides, with the role of a trade connector that brings investment opportunities in Binh Duong to domestic and foreign partners, WTC Binh Duong New City has also successfully hosted seminars and conferences to meet foreign businesses, such as: exhibition connecting goods supply and demand Binh Duong EXPO 2022, India trade promotion conference 2022, Binh Duong trade promotion conference - Tacoma 2022; signing ceremony of Binh Duong - Gangnam strategic cooperation ...

Especially in 2022, WTC Binh Duong New City cooperated with partners to successfully organize Binh Duong International Wood Materials and Machinery Fair - Bifa Wood Vietnam 2022, which gathered more than 100 businesses with more than 700 booths, to display and introduce technologies and products to the main product groups, including machinery and equipment for the wood processing industry of enterprises from countries and territories such as Germany, the United States, Italy, China... This was an important event that proved the role of WTC Binh Duong New City in trade and investment promotion.

In June 2022, the Vietnam Industry and Manufacturing Fair 2022 (VIMF 2022) was also held by OMG Company at WTC EXPO, with an area of nearly 10,000m2, gathering more than 300 booths from 15 countries and territories with the participation of large domestic and foreign units, enterprises and corporations.

With the support of WTC Binh Duong New City, the VIMF on theme of industrial revolution 4.0 became accessible to businesses and visitors alike. After previous successful organization in Binh Duong and other provinces and cities having strong industrial development, VIMF has become a reputable brand and an effective bridge, an ideal destination for manufacturers, suppliers and traders at home and abroad.

To form a new service ecosystem

WTC Binh Duong New City works towards the goal of building an attractive environment for startups and technology companies, helping the province continue to participate in global major economic organizations. It helps to upgrade modern manufacture and create new production machinery and tools. On the other hand, it helps Binh Duong develop evenly in all socio-economic aspects, gradually increase the digital proportion in Binh Duong's economy.

WTC Binh Duong New City aims to training for new professional fields, such as exhibitions and marketing to help young people change and develop new careers. All to form a new service ecosystem, a new cultural space with exchange activities and cultural development in the Binh Duong New City. To create a livable environment, especially for young people who are dynamic, working and living according to international standards.

Giang Quoc Dung, Deputy General Director of Becamex IDC, Chairman of WTC Binh Duong New City Company said, leading associations, exhibition organizers, and businesses have been interested in, considered WTC Binh Duong New City as a new international commercial service destination in the southern key economic region.

He said that in the 2023 plan, the main goal of WTC Binh Duong New City is to perfect the area as well as continue the mission of developing services and adding value to the service ecosystem. In the coming years, this complex will meet ASEAN - MICE standards, be capable of organizing international exhibitions as well as conferences. Deep and extensive connection with the global ecosystem of WTCs to be able to share experience in building operation management, attracting, organizing exhibitions, and promoting regional development.
