On May 10, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, signed a document sent to all government levels, branches, and units in the province on the implementation of COVID-19 prevention control urgent measures in the new situation.
The document clearly stated: The Chairman of provincial People's Committee demanded all levels, branches and units to immediately disseminate and strictly implement directives of the Prime Minister, ministries, central branches, Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee on taking urgent measures to prevent and fight against the COVID-19 in the new situation in the province in an effective, consistent manner while the epidemic is spreading widely in communities.
Do not organize unnecessary crowded gathering activities, suspend crowded events such as weddings, festivals, and tourist attractions. Continue to stop unnecessary services such as: Discos, karaoke, bars, game rooms, massage, spas, gyms, wedding restaurants, yoga studios, entertainment venues, movie theaters, beauty services, physiotherapy clinics throughout the province.
Department of Education and Training needs to proactively collaborate with units and localities to develop plans for epidemic prevention control and well organize entrance exams at all levels and high school graduation in 2021 in the province while guaranteeing safety.
Provincial People's Committee asked that provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to coordinate with Department of Home Affairs and People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and related units to regularly propagate and instruct religious organizations to suspend their activities that gather many people.
Department of Health is responsible for synthesizing directives of the Central, of the province and the epidemic developments in the province to actively collaborate with relevant departments to promptly advise Steering Committee on solutions to be effective, suitable for COVID-19 prevention control situations.
Department of Health need to accelerate the COVID-19 vaccination for frontline workers, which are in prioritized groups in accordance with Resolution No. 21 / NQ-CP of the Government; urgently formulate a vaccination plan for all subjects in the province from state and socialization budgets.
Provincial People's Committee's Office need to advise Provincial People's Committee to direct agencies and units in the building of Provincial Administrative Center to perform their works while limiting meetings and conferences in the building, reducing the number of offline workers, encouraging online work, restricting people from entering the building; require everyone entering the building to wear face masks, to minimize people from outside the building going up the floors to meet leaders, officials in offices, unless there is requests of competent authorities.
Heads of committees and units must be responsible for leading and directing epidemic prevention control while ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of prevention measures.
