To inspire patriotism, multiply compatriotism

Update: 08-11-2022 | 15:24:02

Starting from the last weekend, some localities in the province kicked off the National Great Unity Day. In the coming weekends, remaining localities in the province will simultaneously celebrate this festival. As its name, this annual festival is to arouse patriotism, multiply compatriotism, thereby heighten the strength of great unity to fulfil all tasks according to teachings of President Ho Chi Minh: “Unity is the strength, the key to success.”

The precious tradition of Vietnamese people from past to present is the passionate patriotism and strong solidarity to overcome difficulties together. History also proves this precious tradition of Vietnam through national defence wars. As the country was invaded, that precious tradition re-emerged, multiplied, and turned into strength to crush foreign invaders so that the nation could survive. That precious tradition was also nurtured when the country encountered natural disasters and catastrophes.

Thanks to this precious tradition of solidarity, recently, Binh Duong and the whole country defeated the Covid-19 pandemic. As one of the provinces heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, but with patriotism, solidarity above and below, and the sincere help of compatriots across the country, Binh Duong repelled the disease and brought back the normalcy.

Although the consequences of the pandemic are serious, with the solidarity, willingness to share and help each other in times of need, Binh Duong people have helped each other overcome difficulties and continue to move forward. How many gifts have been given, how many sweat drops of dedication have fallen, people can't remember, but everyone still remembers that Binh Duong defeated the pandemic thanks to the solidarity and unselfishness. This is undeniable.

This year's National Great Solidarity Day is held to stir up patriotism and compatriotism, is also an opportunity to summarize experiences in building new rural areas, cultural urban areas. These are programs and movements with deep meaning, directly affect the cultural and spiritual life of each person in the province. Therefore, it is very important to draw experience and propose solutions to overcome difficulties in order to further develop the countryside into a liveable place for all people. This year's National Great Solidarity Day is also a chance for people to contribute more ideas to build up neighborship, which has also been cultivated for thousands of years.

With the involvement of the Fatherland Front and local authorities at all levels, it is believed that through the festival, people will be encouraged, gathered, and united so that the patriotism and compatriotism will last forever.
