Recently, at Hoang Sinh Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot City), there has been a complicated labor relationship situation. The reason is that the company has owed salaries to nearly 900 workers for 4 consecutive months, from April to July 2024. According to monitoring and understanding the situation, the Provincial Labor Union has worked directly with representatives of enterprises and the Executive Committee of the company's trade union, together with the Management Board of industrial parks and the Trade Union of industrial parks, the labor - war invalids and social affairs sector, and local authorities. During these working sessions, the company has made commitments to fully settle wage arrears for workers. However, by the end of July 2024, the company still has not fulfilled its commitment, leading to workers going on strike.

Before that situation, the provincial labor union organized an urgent meeting and on the afternoon of July 31, a task force led by Ms. Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran, Deputy Permanent Chairman of the provincial labor union, together with specialized departments from the provincial to grassroots levels, coordinated with functional departments to work with the company. The union requests the company to immediately fulfill its commitments as soon as possible, especially the prompt payment of wages to workers to stabilize their lives. This is a quick and responsible response from the provincial labor union and the provincial authorities to help workers stabilize their mindset and continue working.
During the working session with the company, the provincial labor union, together with the functional departments, resolved some of the company's difficulties, such as coordinating with the provincial tax department to quickly refund taxes so that the company has immediate funds to pay wages for workers; coordinating with the social insurance department to ensure the rights and benefits of the company's workers; coordinating with the People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot City to persuade the landlords to reduce the rent and extend the payment deadline for the company's accommodation. Concurrently, the provincial labor union focuses on mobilizing resources to support essential necessities such as noodles, seasoning powder, milk... for company workers. The provincial labor union directly supports each union member, worker of the company with 1 million VND in cash from socialization of mobilized resources.
