With its core role in construction and promoting the strength of national unity, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has actively mobilized people to participate in patriotic movements and competitions, while taking care of the people and serving as a strong link between the Party and the people.

Nguyen Thi My Hang, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the province, presented gifts to people in difficult circumstances at the National Unity Day in 2023 in Thanh Hoa B neighborhood, An Thanh ward, Thuan An city.

Vibrant National Unity Day

For many years, National Unity Day has honored the good traditional values of the nation. On this occasion, the spirit of unity, solidarity, mutual support in times of difficulty and adversity is further enhanced, contributing to the successful implementation of movements and campaigns to build cultural families, develop cultural and civilized lifestyles. Through this day, many residential areas have created various forms of competition and implemented community projects. National Unity Day has also provided an opportunity for direct participation and expression of the people's aspirations and feedback in their daily lives.

According to the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the province, this year, 100% of residential areas organized National Unity Day, and 100% of them organized both the ceremony and the festival. Over the course of 15 days, National Unity Day in residential areas was celebrated in a grand manner in most areas of the province. The program was rich and ensured the correct content and form, creating excitement and a lively competitive atmosphere among the community. National Unity Day has also contributed to improving the quality and further promoting the movement of "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" and the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life".

Residential areas in many localities such as Thu Dau Mot city, Di An city, Thuan An city, Phu Giao district, Bac Tan Uyen district, and Dau Tieng district have made innovations and creativity in their festivals with elaborate cultural performances and traditional games organized as competitions one day before the festival, attracting a large number of people to participate. Especially, some residential areas in Di An city have also performed skits to promote security and order, environmental protection, and fire prevention. Organizations and associations have presented meaningful gifts to workers, students, and poor households on this day.

Promoting the strength of national unity

Under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has effectively carried out its functions of unity, gathering, propaganda, and mobilization of all classes of people to overcome difficulties and challenges, promoting patriotic movements, and implementing major campaigns of the Party and the State, achieving practical results.

The movements and campaigns initiated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations have increasingly become part of people's lives, receiving widespread support and participation, creating a vibrant and practical competitive atmosphere, and making a significant contribution to the local socio-economic development.

In addition, the implementation of the "Day for the Poor" campaign organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has been effective and has made a significant contribution to poverty reduction efforts in the province. Through specific and practical actions, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has effectively mobilized and utilized the "For the Poor" Fund to support thousands of households in renovating and repairing their homes, providing capital and production seeds for poor households to develop their economy, helping dozens of households escape poverty and increase their income.

With the aspiration for a better life and the collective efforts and solidarity of the people, the movements and competitions initiated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels have been concretized through practical actions in each community. This contributes to strengthening the sustainability of national unity, creating new motivation to build trust and social consensus in the process of building and developing a smart, prosperous, and compassionate Binh Duong province. The people always trust in the leadership of the Party and are delighted and excited about the achievements that the province has attained.

Chairwoman Nguyen Thi My Hang of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee, stated that in order to unleash the strength of the entire population and jointly implement the province's socio-economic development tasks, in the coming time, the levels of the Fatherland Front in the province will focus on tasks and solutions such as: Strengthening and innovating propaganda work, grasping the people's situation in line with the implementation of "Renewing the information and communication work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front" in accordance with the new situation; enhancing the role of leading cooperation, coordinating and unifying the actions of the Fatherland Front with its member organizations in implementing activities and movements. The levels of the Fatherland Front will also effectively carry out social supervision and criticism; promote democracy, ensure the people's genuine right to mastery; better implement the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people enjoy".

In addition, the Fatherland Front will proactively coordinate with the government to effectively address pressing social issues at the grassroots level, contributing to ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people. Particularly, the levels of the Fatherland Front in the province will continue to innovate their operating methods, diversify forms of mobilizing the people with a focus on the grassroots level, especially the Neighborhood and Hamlet Front Work Committees; bring large-scale campaigns and movements to the community, creating a high level of social consensus, receiving active and effective responses from various social classes in the province.
