To sing songs praising trade union

Despite taking on many tasks, Binh Duong's civil servants are active, creative and singing melodies proudly praising the homeland, the working class and Trade Union... Those are the messages of units participating in Binh Duong Singing Festival of Civil servants in 2022.

To raise a singing voice of love

Taking place in a joyful atmosphere with the participation of trade unions across the country, provincial trade unions enthusiastically carried out practical activities to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2022), the 2022 Binh Duong Singing Festival of Civil servants attracted 12 teams from 9 Labor Confederations of districts, towns, cities, colleges and universities in the province.

Do Xuan Toan, Vice Chairman of Phu Giao District Confederation of Labor, said that in to uphold the nation's fine traditions, being dynamic and creative, and responding to emulation movements of good labor, creative labor, civil servants of the district worked together to bring to the festival a small program themed "Workers on a new path", including three performances: solo singing “Lời anh vọng mãi ngàn năm” (Your words will last for a thousand years), trio singing “Màu cờ tôi yêu” (The flag color that I love) and group singing “Bài ca người lao động” (Worker’s  song).

According to Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran, Vice President of the Provincial Labor Confederation, although it was only prepared in a short time, this year's festival attracted the participation of 12 teams with 40 performances in three genres: solo, duo - trio and group - chorus singing. Topics of the performances praised the Party, Uncle Ho, the love of the country, people of Vietnam and Binh Duong province; praised the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union, the enthusiastic studying and working spirit of workers, officials, civil servants; praised family, agencies, units, comrades, teammates, colleagues, friends, pure and faithful couple love.

A vibrant and uniting playground

In the past three years, especially from June to September 2021, the fourth Covid-19 wave broke out and had a significant bad impact on people's lives and working class. The whole country joined hands to prevent and control the pandemic, many Party members were not afraid of difficulties and dangers, actively took part in the disease prevention and control to protect people's health. Many civil servants and public employees did not have a day off, went to pandemic-hit centers and hot spots to support workers, and hardly had time to rest.

Therefore, this festival was also an opportunity for officials and workers in the province to meet and exchange after the hard days of fighting the disease; creating a healthy and useful cultural and spiritual playground for civil servants of the province, facilitating exchanges between agencies and units, contributing to building and improving the quality of cultural life at grassroots level.  This festival was also to discover and foster talents of the mass art movement, creating a premise for the development of emulation movements of workers, officials and workers in particular and Binh Duong province in general.

The Binh Duong Singing Festival of Civil servants in 2022 was held by the Provincial Labor Confederation to create a healthy and useful cultural and spiritual playground for civil servants and public employees of the province, create a chance for agencies and units to meet and exchange, and contributing to building and improving the quality of grassroots cultural life. At the end of the festival, Medical branch’s Trade Union excellently won the first prize of group performance category. The second prize belonged to Thu Dau Mot University and Labor Confederation of Ben Cat Town. The third prizes went to Phu Giao District Labor Confederation, Thuan An City Labor Confederation and Thu Dau Mot City Labor Confederation.
