After Binh Duong returned to the "new normal", the youth in the province have been more enthusiastic and excited as participating in cultural and artistic playgrounds. Many songs praising Vietnam's revolutionary ideals have been sung, contributing to arousing patriotism and national pride in thousands of young hearts of Binh Duong.

Many playgrounds celebrate revolutionary ideals

In harmony with the joyful atmosphere of the Public Cultural Art Contest of North Tan Uyen district, 10 mass cultural art teams with more than 200 contestants from communes and towns in the district brought many special performances to the contest to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and reunification of the country (April 30th 1975 - April 30th 2022).

The spirit of the Great Victory of Spring 1975 was even more vibrant with cultural art shows at Thu Dau Mot City Mass Art Festival. According to the evaluation of the organizers and the jury, this year's competition programs were staged staging in a imposing and meaningful manner with the desire to spread positive messages encouraging people to join hands to fight the pandemic and build a more brilliant homeland.

Coming to the contests and festivals of propaganda groups for revolutionary songs in Dau Tieng district, North Tan Uyen district and Thuan An City, youth union members reconstructed the national heroic history. Through the organization of competitions at localities, units have selected excellent persons, meaningful programs to participate in the province-level festival.

Pham Nguyen Phuong Tha, Secretary of Thuan An City Youth Union, said that revolutionary songs, songs praising the hometown, the country, praising Uncle Ho, the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union, the tradition of The Ho Chi Minh Army, and the volunteer youth recalled unforgettable years, a heroic courage, sacrifice for the Fatherland through two long-term resistance wars of the nation. These songs echoed throughout the struggles and crystallized a great strength for many young generations who did not hesitate to forget themselves to build a beautiful country. Today, these songs are words of encouragement, telling young people to uphold their role to protect, build and develop the country.

The desire to contribute to life – youth’s reaosn for living

With the theme " The desire to contribute to life – youth’s reaosn for living", this year's Binh Duong festival of propaganda groups for revolutionary song took place in three days (22, 23 and 24 April) according to four clusters with 17 youth unions of districts, towns, grassroots, branches, blocs of provincial agencies and enterprises, armed forces and schools in the province.

Do Ngoc Loi, Secretary of North Tan Uyen District’s Youth Union, said that because youth union members are working and learning at schools in the area, to practice and run the program, the whole team started practicing from 6.30 – 9.30 pm daily, for almost two weeks. However, most of them were enthusiastic about practicing and wanted to convey positive energy to contribute to the success of the festival. At this festival, with a program called “Khát vọng thanh niên Việt Nam” (Vietnamese Youth Aspirations), this unit spread the message of an aspiration to devote its youth to the country.

Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Youth Union, President of Provincial Students' Union, President of the Provincial HYPO Council, Head of the Organizing Committee of the festival, said a new thing of this year's festival was a series of performances in industrial parks serving young workers and people. The performances were also made into theatricalized video clips by the festival organizers and posted on social networking pages to participate in competitions, in order to propagate and spread the lyrics, songs expressing the youth strength in the of developing and building process of Binh Duong among all young people and the whole society.
