On September 29, 2021, the Prime Minister agreed in writing to assign 5 provinces and cities of Ho Chi Minh city, Dong Nai, Long An, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Duong to have competent agencies implement the projects on Vanh Dai 4. In which, Binh Duong provincial People's Committee is assigned to implement the construction section from Thu Bien Bridge to Saigon River including Thu Bien Bridge and excluding Saigon River crossing bridge with a length of about 49 kilometers. Currently, some sections passing through Bac Tan Uyen district, Tan Uyen town and Ben Cat town have been completed. Some sections are in the process of compensation and site clearance for construction according to the planning.

The Vanh Dai 4 project in Ho Chi Minh City was approved by the Prime Minister on September 28, 2011 for a total length of about 200 kilometers, which is not only a route to reduce internal traffic pressure for the southern key economic provinces and cities, but also a lifeline for many localities in the region; at the same time, contributing to the improvement of transport infrastructure, and promoting trade and economic recovery of the whole region.

At the field survey of some sections of the Vanh Dai 4 in Binh Duong province yesterday morning, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi asked localities to prioritize the acceleration of the progress of compensation and site clearance. As for newly opened sections, it is necessary to comply with the design standards of the project, and at the same time, to calculate and perform the connection immediately for the sections that have been completed. Currently, over 20 kilometers, of which the two longest completed sections are 12.5 kilometers and 6.76 kilometers, of the Vanh Dai 4 in the province has been completed by the local budget.

After listening to the relevant departments, branches and localities reporting on the implementation of sections and routes of the Vanh Dai 4 project, the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee requested them to urgently coordinate and prioritize the progress acceleration of the project regarding the compensation and site clearance to promptly hand over the construction unit to organize the construction to ensure the set schedule. Currently, the province is implementing and will be implementing a number of large-scale traffic projects like National Highway 13 expansion, Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang road, Vanh Dai 3, Vanh Dai 4, and Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Highway. Therefore, the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee requested to prioritize capital resources for the site clearance to speed up the construction progress of traffic projects, contributing to connectivity of local socio-economic development. For completed sections and routes, the provincial Party Committee Secretary requested the calculation of line connection, and at the same time, the new sections must be implemented in accordance with the approved design.

The typical industrial urban construction

At the survey, representatives of leaders of the Department of Construction also informed the development planning of urban areas along the Vanh Dai 4 route such as Tan My - Thuong Tan urban area in Bac Tan Uyen district, Uyen Hung urban area, Hoi Nghia town in Tan Uyen town, Hoa Loi Urban Area in Ben Cat town among others. The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee also requested the Department of Construction and related units and localities to conduct urban planning along the Vanh Dai 4 to ensure harmony with the general planning of the province while making the most of the advantages of the route. In the future, the province will also work with the Vietnam Rubber Group to calculate and reserve more land to serve the development of urban areas, aiming to build a typical industrial city of the country.

In the morning of the same day, the provincial leaders also came to inspect the preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony of Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) 3. The project covering a total area of 1,000 hectares was built in Hoi Nghia Ward of Tan Uyen town and Tam Lap commune of Bac Tan Uyen district as the 10th VSIP ever built in Vietnam and the 3rd VSIP ever built in Binh Duong. The provincial leaders also came to inspect the preparation for the groundbreaking ceremony of Dinh Hoa Social Housing Area in Binh Duong New City.

After listening to the relevant departments, branches and localities reporting on the implementation of sections and routes of the Vanh Dai 4 project, the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee requested relevant units to urgently coordinate and prioritize the progress acceleration of the project regarding the compensation and site clearance to promptly hand over the construction unit to organize the construction to ensure the set schedule.
