To support enterprises paying salary

Government Secretariat just issued Official Dispatch stating decision of Deputy President Vu Van Ninh regarding the support for enterprises to pay employees whose work have been postponed due to recent incidents causing illegal actions in localities. Accordingly, those employees being affected from May 12 to July 1. The supporting amounts shall be determined by the enterprises and the employees but shall not be lower than regional minimum wage required by the government.Under the Official Dispatch, enterprises shall be exempted from interest on deferred salary payments in April and May 2014. The payments for the days postponed shall be realized in expenses and be deducted as taxable income of the enterprise is determined.Reported by K.T – Translated by Vi Bao
