To turn towards the 11th Provincial Youth Union’s Congress, tenure 2022-2027: Youth strength showed through programs and activities

To turn towards the 11th Congress of the Provincial Ho Chi Minh Youth Union 2022-2027, Youth Unions at all levels in the province have been creating a wave of youth movements, activities and programs filled with enthusiasm and determination of the youth to study, work well and volunteer.

Resilience of youth

In the atmosphere welcoming Youth Union Congress at all levels, a highlight for the resilience of youth is the Youth Month 2022, which has taken place vibrantly all over the province. All levels of Youth Union have made efforts to carry out works and projects to welcome the Congress and uphold the volunteer spirit serving the community.

Standing Committee of Provincial Youth Union has implemented some key tasks in the Youth Month 2022; at the same time, directed Provincial Youth Federation, Students' Union, HYPO Council, non-business units to set up plans and carry out activities for each field, expertise and group. All levels of Youth Union have focused on the organization of social security activities, serving the people. Besides, there were volunteer activities to participate in the construction of new rural areas, urban civilization, and were implemented extensively, practically, pervasively, creating a good social effect, turning towards the grassroots.  

All levels of Youth Union have actively changed their plans for the Youth Month 2022, organized practical activities in accordance with the actual situation at each unit; strive to meet the needs and aspirations of local people. In particular, youth members participated in the renovation, repairs of roads, dredged canals, executed lighting system of country roads, planted flowers, planted trees along streets; cleaned streets, painted on old walls to beautify streets... Thereby, the whole Youth union network organized 488 volunteer activities to participate in the construction of new rural areas - civilized urban areas; implemented 112 activities, 177 environmental protection models; planted more than 6,260 new trees of all kinds; organized more than 200 activities "Volunteer Saturday" and 20 activities of program "Border areas in March"...

Youth Unions in the province also handed over 3 “red scarf” houses with a total cost of VND 150 million; inaugurated 13 children's playgrounds; upgraded and repaired 5 children's play areas, inaugurated 1 community sports area; gave 7,275 gifts, 11,500 notebooks, 412 "Dream schoolbags", presented 52 health insurance cards, 20 bicycles, school supplies, milk and other gifts...

In order to further prove the blue-shirt’s volunteer spirit of Youth Union, the "Border areas in March " activities were carried out by the provincial to district level unions, with nearly 30 practical programs, such as cultural exchanges, sports competitions with border guards, visits to border posts, organized the journey "Young people travel to border milestones"; welfare activities to care for the disadvantaged and pay tribute to soldiers at borders... Once again, the Youth Month of Binh Duong youth has been marked by many works, tasks and activities to welcome Youth Union Congress at all levels; continue to affirm the pioneer role of the youth with practical movements and programs.

To arouse aspiration

Progressing to the 11th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Youth Union, 2022-2027, Provincial Youth Union Province held a festival of revolutionary songs themed "Aspiration to make contribution - Youth life". Through cultural art performances of provincial, district, town, city Youth Unions and union branches, universities and colleges in the province, people understood more deeply the glorious revolutionary history of the nation. Additionally, meaningful lyrics and powerful melodies expressed the spirit of young people participating in fighting, labor, learning and building the homeland; the image of enthusiastic young people always volunteer for union works and movements... The songs at the festival were carefully selected and had the content of praising the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland, the tradition of Youth Union in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland; the resilient and indomitable revolutionary spirit of the people in combat, labor and production; Binh Duong youth’s desire to make contributions and rise up in the renewal period.

As part of the activities welcoming the Congress, Provincial Youth Union also organized a contest to learn about the history of the Provincial Party Committee, the history of the Ho Chi Minh Provincial Youth Union, and four lessons of political theory. The contest has created an environment for youth union staff and members to study and learn about history; the marks and achievements of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Youth Union.
