To vigorously implementing Directive No. 12-CT/TU of Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of Sep 20, inspection teams of Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control had a meeting with Covid-19 Steering Committees of localities to check the implementation of Directive No. 12-CT/TU of Provincial Party Standing Committee on the prevention and control of the Covid-19 and the easing of social distancing in the province after Sep 15. The inspection teams demanded provincial municipalities to vigorously implement Directive No. 12-CT/TU of Provincial Party; protect the anti-pandemic results and focus on greening the areas.

Tan Uyen Town is determined to protect the optimistic anti-pandemic results.

Reporting to Inspection Team No. 4 headed by Mai Hung Dung, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Van Danh, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Head of Covid-19 Steering Committee of Tan Uyen town said, since the first case appeared in the local community on Jun 12, to Sep 19, the town recorded 37,477 F0s, are giving treatment to 7,993 cases, and 33,935 cases have recovered. Up to now, Tan Uyen has established 6 green communes and wards, 2 red wards, 3 orange wards, and 1 yellow ward. A vaccination campaign to create community immunity is accelerated to fulfill the target assigned by the province.

After five days of easing social distancing, the town has received a good response from residents and businesses. The town is currently implementing a plan to recover socio-economic activities in the "new normal" condition after social distancing period; test plan, vaccination plan; a plan to ensure security and order; ensure the supply of essential goods to serve people's demands… The town has strictly adhered to the motto "production must be safe", is determined to protect the current anti-pandemic achievements; quickly narrow “red zones”; expand and firmly protect "green zones", gradually recover the economy, create jobs, and ensure social security.

In order to resume socio-economic activities in the "new normal" state, the town eased the social distance in green areas. Social activities are gradually restored. In "green zones", the town allows essential services and agricultural production to reopen and operate but must comply with the requirements of disease prevention and control; outdoor events, festivals, entertainment, culture, religious activities, physical trainings, sports and other non-essential activities that have not yet been allowed to reopen.

Speaking at the meeting, Mai Hung Dung appreciated the efforts of Tan Uyen Town in implementing solutions to maintain "green zones", especially to tight "red zones" and to green 6/12 wards and communes in the area. He also asked the town, in the coming time, to continue maintaining the achieved results, continue "greening" yellow and red zones, and stick to the plans and schedules to resume socio-economic activities of the province.

Bau Bang district strives to transform yellow zones

In Bau Bang district, Nguyen Phu Cuong, Vice Chairman of Bau Bang District People's Committee, reported to  Inspection Team No. 8 led that after seven the day of loosening the social distance (from Sep11 to Sep 19), testing and separating F0s from "yellow spots" in "green zones" are being implemented urgently. Thereby, the district detected 1,046 positive cases, of which there were 474 cases in companies, 539 cases in the community... In particular, 6 "yellow spots" in "green zones" of Lai Uyen town are becoming green and  gradually return to the "new normal" state.

Vaccination against Covid-19 in the district and in enterprises outside industrial zones was quickly and promptly carried out by the district. Accumulated up to now, the whole district has given 90,969 vaccine doses/92,080 of the population aged 18 years and over, reaching 98.8%. In which, 90,969 doses of the first jab, and 6,842 doses of the second jab. The granting of permits for business and production reopening was carried out cautiously by the district's government, while considering and assessing conditions of disease prevention and control. Up to now, the district has 4 enterprises applying the "three-green" model with 630 employees, 132 enterprises of "three-on-site" with nearly 20,000 employees. Besides, the district continues to maintain 12 checkpoints for Covid-19 disease prevention control with 221 members, including many functional forces.

Speaking at the meeting, Nguyen Loc Ha asked Bau Bang district to have a specific plan to focus on "greening" six yellow zones as soon as possible; conduct a substantive assessment of the operation of mobile medical stations in terms of functions, tasks, human resources, medical equipment... In particular, medical workers must be ready to meet requirements of disease prevention control in the new situation, after medical teams and volunteers complete their tasks and leave Binh Duong.

Rapid testing to separate F0s from the community must be done speedily, fast but clean; must not let any F0s be in the community. "Three-green" and "three-on-site" production, as being allowed to resume, must strengthen the inspection and strict supervision of Covid-19 prevention at factories and companies, do not let the disease penetrate and spread in the establishment.

On the morning of Sep 20, Inspection Team No. 2 of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, led by Ho Quang Diep, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, inspected the pandemic fighting prevention work in Thu Dau Mot City. The team supervised the testing process to separate F0s from the community, especially in high-risk areas such as traditional markets and supermarkets; difficulties in online learning; the inspection and supervision at enterprises and traditional markets after easing the social distance, especially guaranteeing the rules of disease prevention and control in take-away food and drink services; the establishment of mobile medical stations in industrial zones and clusters; policies to support workers participating in "three-on-site"; the management, monitoring, medical care for F0s at home...
