With a voluntary spirit, young people in Dau Tieng district have launched energetically many useful activities, movements contributing to building new rural areas.In order to foster the movement “The youth volunteer to preserve social order and security” and engage in protecting traffic safety, in 2013, affiliates of Dau Tieng district Youth Union have organized activities of ensuring traffic safety, like: implementing youth projects of guaranteeing traffic safety, introducing contents of traffic laws, traffic culture in meetings of branches; cooperated with agencies, organizations to propagate road traffic law, deploy members to prevent, combat social evils, ensure public order in the locality. During the year, one club named “Lighting beliefs” of district level was established with 5 members, 6 clubs of commune level were formed with 66 members. These clubs have converted 75 backward young people; helped young ones breaking laws, offenders after prison time, reeducation to better themselves and become helpful citizens.Apart from voluntary activities, Dau Tieng district Youth Union has directed affiliates to promote their role supporting, companioning with the youth in stabilizing their living, setting up their business. In 2013, the Union combined with Vocational training center to give courses and issue veterinary certificates to 40 learners in Dinh Hiep; presented 4 cows and 1 compassionate house worth totally VND70mln to young one’s families with difficult circumstance.Union branches at communes, towns also transferred science and technology of production, conversion of plant, domestic animal structure to young members. Thereby, many examples succeeding in enhancing family business emerged with annual revenue of hundreds of million VND, like: Nguyen An Khang rearing tortoise in Dinh Thanh communes, Truong Anh The raising industrial chickens in Long Tan commune etc.Dau Tieng district Youth Union’s Secretary Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Van said, constructing roads of new rural, supporting members to develop business were two in many successful voluntary activities of building new rural areas.
