On the afternoon of November 24, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting and worked with Mr. Horie Masahiro, CEO of Tokyu Corporation (Japan), and members of the delegation.

During the meeting, Nguyen Loc Ha stated that in recent times, Binh Duong province has had close cooperation with investors from Japan, including the Tokyu Group, with Becamex Tokyu Co., Ltd. being a model for the collaborative development between Vietnam and Japan. He believes that with the expansion plans in investment, the Tokyu Group will continue to grow and actively contribute to the province's development.
Nguyen Loc Ha further stated that Binh Duong is actively collaborating with foreign partners to construct and implement the Smart City and Innovative Region Initiative in Binh Duong. Accordingly, the province is vigorously pursuing digital transformation to establish a digital government, digital economy, digital society, and build a new ecosystem to drive development in line with the trends of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Besides, Binh Duong is the first locality in Vietnam to officially become a member of the World Intelligent Community Forum (ICF). In 2023, ICF officially honors Binh Duong with the title of Intelligent Community of the Year - TOP 1 ICF 2023.
Horie Masahiro, the leader of Tokyu Corporation, emphasized the importance of the relationship with Becamex IDC and Binh Duong province. He expressed the desire for the partnership and cooperation between the two parties to deepen and expand in various fields. Tokyu Corporation's investment direction in the future will not only focus on expanding the housing sector but also diversify into other areas such as commercial services, building rentals, and investment in public transportation systems like TOD. With these investment expansion plans, the Tokyu Group expects to continue contributing to the development of Binh Duong province.
