Total import export turnover reaches over US$ 19.9 million during 7-day Tet break

Provincial Customs Department said that during the Tet holiday 2023, the unit made customs clearance for 32 enterprises.

Specifically, during the 7-day Tet break from January 20 to the end of January 26, 2023, at the headquarters of provincial Customs Department and its sub-departments, officers and civil servants were arranged to be on duty to settle customs clearance for enterprises in a timely manner, ensuring safety and security. Provincial Customs Department ensured fast customs clearance of goods for 32 enterprises with 221 declarations, total import and export turnover of over US$ 19.9 million. Thu Dau Mot city’s Customs Sub-Department had the most customs clearance declarations with 182 declarations from 9 enterprises, with total turnover of over US$ 13.6 million.

Main import and export items are products and equipment used for floor, lenses, electronic components, rice cookers, spare parts, cream powder, non-alloy steel sheets, lawn mowers operated by battery, hand-held lawn mowers with electric motor, hearing aids, porcelain teeth...

From the morning of January 27 (January 6 of lunar calendar), the units under provincial Customs Department have returned to normal operations.
