Total investment for social development in 2023 expected to increase by 11%

Provincial People's Council has just issued a resolution on the socio-economic development plan for 2023. Accordingly, the province's gross domestic product (GRDP) will increase by 8.5% - 8.7% compared to 2022. The province’s industrial manufacturing, construction, services, agriculture - forestry - fishery and product tax minus product subsidies will account for 67.00%, 23.09%, 2.49 % and  7.42% in the economic structure, respectively. The province’s index of industrial production (IIP) will increase by over 8.7%. The GRDP per capita will be about VND 177.1 million per year. The province’s export turnover will increase by 9% - 10% while import turnover will increase by 9% - 10%.

Along with that, the province’s total State budget revenue will reach more than VND 74.61 trillion while total expenditure to balance the local State budget will be more than VND23.27 trillion. The province’s total retail sales revenue of goods and services will increase by 15%. The province’s FDI attraction will reach US$ 1.8 billion. The province’s total investment for social development will increase by 11%. The percentage of communes meeting advanced new-style rural standards will reach 100% and there will be additional 8,000 - 10,000 social housing units.
