Total retail value obtains nearly VND 194.5 trillion

The province’s total retail sales revenue of goods and services in the first 7 months of 2024 was VND 194,478.7 billion, an increase of 12.5% compared to the same period in 2023.

Of these, VND 10,318.4 billion came from the State sector while VND 174,253.4 billion and VND 9,906.8 billion were contributed by the non-State sector and the foreign-invested sector, respectively. Several categories of goods and services such as food and foodstuffs,  various fuels,  gold and precious stones saw high growth with VND 30,398.7 billion, up 20.9%; VND 13,674.3 billion, up 11.1%; VND 4,128.3 billion, up 51.5%, respectively. All service sectors saw significant increases. For example, health and social assistance services grow by 11.2%; computer, personal and household goods repair services by 9.6%; administrative and support services by 12.6%; education and training services by 13.6% and other services by 13.6%...

In general, the province's trade and service activities in the first 7 months of 2024 were stable, meeting the shopping needs of the local residents. Notably, over the past 7 months, the province effectively implemented solutions to ensure supply-demand balance and market stability. Province-based retail systems were also very proactive in implementing demand stimulus programs to increase the local purchasing power...
