Tourists received in Binh Duong on waterway

Update: 23-11-2021 | 11:27:46

As part of activities to support member businesses and jointly develop tourism in Binh Duong province, in the afternoon of November 22, Binh Duong Tourism Association continued to coordinate with Binh Duong Tourism – Riverway Bus Joint Stock Company to welcome 31 tourists from Ho Chi Minh city to Binh Duong by river.

The visitors were representatives of businesses in Ho Chi Minh city, Hanoi and a Thai Tourism Company in a tour to survey and prepare to bring officials and employees of the companies as well as tourists from Thailand to Binh Duong province to travel in the near future.

After exploring and experiencing the river journey from Ho Chi Minh city to Binh Duong, the tourist boat arrived at Tiamo of Phu Tho ward in Thu Dau Mot city and began to visit and explore the destinations in the province including historical and cultural relics of Tran Van Ho ancient house, Hoi Khanh pagoda, check-in site of administrative center of Binh Duong province etc. The tour ended at 9pm the following evening as visitors experienced and had dinner on Thu Dau Mot Cruise.

The programs were to restart tourism activities in the province after the Covid-19 epidemic situation has basically been under control. After the pilot activity, the provincial Tourism Association and the organizing unit of Binh Duong Riverway Bus and Tourism Joint Stock Company will prepare for the development program of river tourism in particular and tourism of Binh Duong in general in the coming time. Mr. Tran Tuan Hung, Chairman of Binh Duong Tourism Department, said that one of the new development directions of Binh Duong tourism in the coming time are to exploit river tours to serve domestic and foreign tourists. In addition to the program, around the beginning of December, the Association will organize some more activities to contribute to the development of Binh Duong tourism.
