Trade and service values of Tan Uyen city exceed 23%

According to the People's Committee of Tan Uyen City, in 2024, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue are expected to reach 32.742 trillion VND, an increase of 23.36% compared to 2023. In addition, the city’s People's Committee has issued business registration certificates for 1,966 cases (a decrease of 143 cases compared to 2023) with a total capital of 700.43 billion VND (an increase of 38.37 billion VND compared to 2023).

In 2024, the city's functional sectors conducted market inspections and business activities for 99 cases, resulting in the detection and administrative penalties for 92 cases, with a total fine and tax collection of over 1.45 billion VND. The city is focusing on directing inspections and surveys of the operation of temporary markets in the area; strengthening inspection and market control, especially in the fight against smuggling and food safety, to prevent hoarding and stockpiling that causes market instability at the end of the year
