Trade promotion accelerated in the stage of epidemic

According to leaders of local industry and trade department, in harsh situations of Covid-19 and cancelled trade promotion programs, coordination with functional departments and enterprises in the province and televised trade promotion of woodwork, footware, garment, and pottery industries have been implemented to enhance e-trade programs and presume the introduction of major production sector of the province. Provincial Department of Industry and Trade has constructed draft plan to organize a conference on domestic investment promotion in Binh Duong province, projected to be in November 2020.

According to the Department, exportation revenue in August was estimated to be US$ 2.6 billion, increasing by 5.8% from previous month and 20% year on year. The importation revenue was estimated to be at US$ 1.97 billion, increasing by 14% from previous month and 9.4% year on year. Trade surplus of August gained US$ 3.8 billion.
