Trade Union activities further aim at grassroots level for laborers’ rights and interests

The 10^th provincial Labor Union, on July 5, held its 5^th session and partially reviewed activities in the first half of 2019.

Reportedly, the whole province is home to nearly 3,547 trade union locals with nearly 755,600 trade unionists. Over the past six months, the province’s Trade Union activities continued improvement in content and form. Provincial Labor Union organized a “sentimental bus” program for 5,000 workers with a total expense of more than VND3billion. People’s Committees at all levels of the province also offered more than 10,000 Tet gifts worth more than VND5billion to workers living away from home with difficult circumstances.

From now to year-end, Trade Unions at all levels of the province will focus on taking solutions in order to achieve targets on admitting members and setting up trade union locals; improve collective labor deals in both quantity and quality; protect laborers’ legitimate rights and interests…
