Trade Union congress of enterprise with nearly 2,700 workers held

Early December 4, the Trade Union local of Dai Hoa Co., Ltd. in Tan Uyen town held its 2nd congress for the 2023-2028 tenure. This is the unit chosen by the town’s Labor Union to organize the main Trade Union congress in the business sector.

Attending the congress, there were 123 delegates representing nearly 2,700 workers working at the company and 100 cadres of Trade Union locals under the town’s Labor Union.

As a wholly foreign invested company, Dai Hoa Co., Ltd. is specialized in manufacturing shoes for export. In the last term, the company's trade union local effectively promoted its role of caring for and protecting trade unionists and employees’ legitimate rights and interests; strengthened propaganda and education of trade unionists and workers to strictly observe the Party and State’s guidelines, policies and laws; set up harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the enterprise. The Executive Board of the company's trade union local always closely followed trade unionists and employees to promptly grasp thoughts and aspirations related to their legitimate rights and interests, thereby giving timely solutions for each case, proposing the company’s directorate to promptly resolve in accordance with the provisions of law...

The congress also elected the Executive Board of the company's trade union local for the 2023-2028 tenure, with 13 members; nominated 4 official delegates and 2 alternative ones to attend the 10th of Trade Union congress of Tan Uyen town for the 2023-2028 tenure. After the congress, within 15 days, the Executive Board of the company's trade union local will meet for the first time to elect the titles of Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Head of the Inspection Board of the company's trade union local for the new tenure.
