Trade Union institutions need to be built with appropriate size and position

On the afternoon of March 27, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation received and worked with a delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), led by Nguyen Dinh Khang, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the VGCL.

At the working session, representative of provincial Labor Union reported a number of contents pertaining to the management and use of finance, trade union assets, arrangement plan for Tourism – Trading One-Member Co.Ltd. under provincial Labor Union; the implementation of the trade union institution project; provincial Center for Cultural Activities of Workers; organizational structure and personnel of provincial Labor Union. Representative of Tan Uyen town also informed the delegation of a number of contents pertaining to the proposed location of the construction of the local Workers' Cultural Center.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Loi highly appreciated and thanked the VGCL for paying attention and supporting the province to well implement trade union activities over the past time. He also asked for provincial Labor Union to overcome shortcomings and continue well performing assigned tasks. For the construction of Trade Union institutions, he asked for provincial Labor Union to coordinate with functional sectors to calculate the appropriate locations and scales of construction to facilitate workers' participation in activities. Regarding the personnel quotas of provincial Labor Union, he requested leaders of the unit to report specifically so that the province’s functional sectors will advise to resolve this issue in the coming time. He also said ok with Tan Uyen town’s proposal to build a Workers' Cultural Center in Khanh Binh ward.
