Training course on destination management and tourism product development concludes

The 2022 training course on destination management and tourism product development which was co-organized by provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, HCM city Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Saigon College of Culture concluded on July 21.

This was one of the activities to implement the content of developing tourism human resources under the cooperation agreement on tourism development in the Southeastern region for the period of 2020-2025 signed by provinces and cities. Through the three-day training course, civil servants in charge of tourism in the localities; civil servants in charge of explanations at the relic sites; directors, deputy directors, managers, heads of departments and staff at tourist sites in the province and localities in the Southeastern region got more knowledge, skills on destination management and tourism product development, contributing to step by step standardizing the sector’s workforce as well as fulfilling the target of developing trained human resources in the Southeastern region under the signed agreement.
