Training on prevention and control of malnutrition

The provincial Center for Reproduction Healthcare just held a training to improve and update new nutrition knowledge for 91 nutritionists across communes and wards and to launch nutrition plan for 2012.

The nutrition plan 2012’s goals are to enhance nutrition knowledge for pregnant women, women of childbearing age, to improve nutrition situation in children, to decline rate of malnutrition in children under 5 and among others.

Participating in the training, participants shared and exchanged experiences on their work at grassroot levels. After the event, training on prevention and control of malnutrition will be launched across 7 districts and townships for over 1,000 community collaborators.
