Tran Van Loi named for 32 times of blood donation

Blood donation has been fostered in activities of the Youth’s League and social charity drives. The stories about 32 times of blood donation have become good memories of Tran Van Loi (in photo), 37, the officer of one-stop shop of Phu Cuong Ward People’s Committee in Thu Dau Mot City.

Many, due to personal fear, have failed to overcome to donate blood although they are so eager for the charity benevolence. Others, like Loi, have sacrificed for survival of others to cherish to acts of kindness. Loi really does not want to talk much about his actions as for him, blood donation is meaningful and humane for the youths to join in.

He recalled: “In the past of Youth’s League activities, I have joined in to know about blood donation not deciding to donate. However, on witnessing the activities, I realized that it was no big deal and decided to donate my blood on regular basis.”

Then, he registered for health check and request for blood donation. He is now one of the key figures of blood donation as he believes that he as a leader should do first to call others to follow. Besides, the drives require determination and understanding of blood donation for people saving.
