On February 16, Huynh Van Trong, Director of Binh Duong Bus Station, said that currently, transportation units have increased trips from provinces and cities nationwide to bring workers back to Binh Duong to work after the 2024 Tet holiday.

According to Trong, fares for fixed passenger transport routes departing from Provincial Bus Station have returned to normal levels. Particularly for routes bringing workers back to Binh Duong to work, fares are priced according to fee schedule registered at the starting point. The Provincial Bus Station also asks units that have destinations in Binh Duong to fully implement the regulations and instructions of Department of Transport of Binh Duong province to ensure the return of passengers and workers smoothly and safely.

Meanwhile, a representative of Phuong Trang Joint Stock Company Branch said that currently, on average, this business has 10 trips per day to bring workers from provinces and cities in the Western region back to Binh Duong to work. The company ensures the transportation of the correct number of passengers, pick-up and drop-off according to regulations. Fares with starting point at Binh Duong Bus Station have returned to normal prices, while prices for routes to Binh Duong have increased by 30 - 40% compared to normal days. At Minh Quan bus company, for the Binh Duong - Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan) route, tickets are currently sold at the same price as usual. The bus company also offers a 20% discount on ticket prices for people having difficult circumstances, the elderly, and students from Binh Thuan returning to Binh Duong to study and work after the Lunar New Year holiday 2024.
