Trees planted at Phu Loi Prison's historical and cultural site

To practically celebrating the success of 13th National Congress of Women's Union 2022-2027, and respond to the program of planting 1 billion trees in 2021-2025 period launched by the Prime Minister, on March 23, Phu Loi ward Women's Union (Thu Dau Mot City) in collaboration with the Provincial Police Women's Union, Provincial Military Command’s Women's Union organized a program to plant trees at Phu Loi Prison's Historical and Cultural Site.

Nguyen Ngoc Lan Anh, Chairwoman of Phu Loi ward Women's Union, said that the program was meant to encourage the project implementation to improve living standards, build cultural lifestyle and urban civilization in the city. This was also the work to realize the program of women cultivating the future - for the sake of ten years of planting trees, for the benefit of hundreds of years of cultivating people - was launched by the Central Women's Union.

On this occasion, these units jointly carried out green gardens and fruit trees with 30 new trees planted in the grounds of Phu Loi Prison's Historical and Cultural Monuments.
