On January 14, Bau Bang district’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in collaboration with the Party Committees, People’s Councils and People’s Committees of Hung Hoa and Lai Uyen communes held a ceremony to hand over 2 “great unity” houses to poor households in the two communes.

Accordingly, the two houses were given for the households of Trinh Duy Nhip, born in 1954, residing in Hung Hoa commune’s hamlet 1 and Le Van Danh, born in 1964, residing in Lai Uyen commune’s Xa Mach hamlet. Each house covers around 32sq.m-36sq.m with a total expense of VND30mln-VND42mln, including VND30mln from the local Fund for the Poor and the remainder from each household.

At the ceremony, representative of Bau Bang district’s FFC,  leaders of Hung Hoa and Lai Uyen communes’ mass organizations and donors also presented many gifts to the two households, helping them rise up out of poverty.
