  Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Tri, head of Tan Uyen district Military Headquarters receives “Determination to win” flag in 2011.

Born in a farming family, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Tri, head of Tan Uyen district Military Headquarters has a high awareness on the national building and protection. In 1982, he joined voluntarily in military. With assistance and guidance of leaders of military unit, he completed training courses at military school. After that he reached successes in his entrusted tasks. Till Nov. 2008, was nominated to hold the position of head of Tan Uyen district Military Headquarters.

As an enthusiastic and responsible person, he gives good and useful advices to leadership. In addition, with creation and determination, he has set out many breakthrough measures to spur development and solidarity for the unit.

With the done results, from 2009 to 2011, the unit led in the “Determination to win” emulation movement.

Major Tran Trung Dung : person of initiatives

Major Tran Trung Dung, the automobile repairer of the provincial Military Headquarters’ Technical Department has many initiatives in renovating equipments and saving time and labor, contributing to excel tasks.

Born in and grown up in the Northern province of Nghe An, he voluntarily joined in the military at the age of 19. He always completes tasks and positively searches initiatives to improve equipments. Specifically, in 2009 he researched and invented successfully new equipments to replace out of date ones. His initiatives were chosen to join in the technical initiative contest and won the consolation prize. With his efforts, he was awarded the title of grassroot emulation soldier in 2009 and 2010.

To further develop the patriotic emulation movement, the provincial Military Headquarters’ party committee will in the coming time launch instructions widely to promote soldiers’ enthusiasm and creation for the sake of successful fulfillment of national defense and military tasks.
