To implement action program of the Resolution of the Provincial Youth Union Congress for the 2022-2027 term, all levels of Youth Union and Youth Federation in the province have strengthened the expansion of the solidarity front, gathering young people in the ethnic minority and religious youth blocs.

Develop programs

One of the effective activities of ethnic and religious youth gathering work in Di An ward (Di An city) is the "I love my Fatherland" journey that is held annually and achieved practical effectiveness, contributing to concretizing the goals of Youth Union’s Resolution.

Accordingly, Youth Union and Youth Federation of Di An ward have organized the journey "I love my Fatherland - Unite in love" in 2023 to Khanh Hoa commune, Chau Phu district, An Giang province. Here, the Ward Youth Union learned models and experience of ethnic and religious youth gathering; and donated a youth project including 6 solar lights and 50 national flags, total value of 15 million VND. In addition, the Ward Youth Union also awarded 30 gifts to Cham ethnic households living in difficult circumstances with a total value of 15 million VND; project "Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese youth", donated 800 notebooks to children and interacted with Cham ethnic people.

Participating in this journey, Vo Cao Tri, Deputy Secretary of Di An City Youth Union, said the exchange and meeting took place in a joyful and exciting atmosphere, contributing to the bond between the two youth units. This is an opportunity for Di An youth to share difficulties with Cham poor people to experience and understand the life and culture of the people here. From there, youth union members gain more skills, strengthen the effectiveness of solidarity, and ethnic and religious youth gathering activities.

Together with Di An Ward Youth Union, in recent times, Youth Unions and Associations in the province have also maintained and developed many traditional festivals of ethnic minorities; supported disadvantaged people and gave gifts, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the work of uniting ethnic minority youth and religious believers.

Effectiveness from clubs

During the 2022-2027 term, Youth Union at all levels will promote the activities of Youth Union and Association among ethnic and religious youth; strongly develop the core force and role of ethnic and religious youth clubs and branches.

With the above solution, the Ward Youth Union and Youth Federation of Phu Loi Ward (Thu Dau Mot City) have coordinated with Ethnic - Religious Youth Club for economic development of My Linh fresh flowers to organize a counseling program to support, introduce and experience jobs and business models for young people. In this program, union members were instructed and equipped with basic knowledge and skills about flower arranging...

Besides, Phu Loi Ward Youth Union also paid a visit and gave gifts to the Ethnic - Religious Youth Club for economic development together at Young Workers and Young Labor Association of Quarter 1. During the program, the club's president shared about the processing facility model at its branch. Accordingly, the established club has brought together ethnic and religious youth to help each other develop economically and stabilize their lives.

In addition to activities of gathering ethnic and religious youth through clubs, grassroots Youth Unions in the province also focus on activities and programs to support economic development such as livelihood support; loan support; explore effective models... Chanh Nghia Ward Youth Union (Thu Dau Mot City) has implemented the model "Supporting religious youth for economic development". Accordingly, Chanh Nghia Ward Youth Union coordinated to open baking classes for young believers in the area. This activity aims to stimulate ideas so that ethnic and religious youth can start a business to improve their family income.

It can be said that the practical activities of Youth Union and Youth Federation have shown the high spirit in accompanying young believers and religions in starting and establishing businesses and enhancing the effectiveness of young people solidarity and gathering, developing increasingly strong Youth Union and Federation organizations.
