In addition to prioritizing the development of synchronized and comprehensive transport infrastructure to keep pace with the advancements of the 4.0 industrial era and promote sustainable industrial growth, Binh Duong has been actively working on the construction and enhancement of industrial parks. These efforts are focused on creating green, smart, and environmentally friendly spaces, positioning the region for significant progress in socio-economic development.

Invest in modern, synchronous connected infrastructure

Binh Duong is focusing on developing transport infrastructure, identifying this as an important lever for socio-economic development, while enhancing its position in the region. Currently, the province has the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 and Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 projects, integrated into main roads such as My Phuoc - Tan Van - Bau Bang, Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang, DT743, DT746, National Highway 13... creating a traffic network connecting the industrial park system to seaports and international airports, creating a cohesive transport framework, further consolidating the competitive advantage of Binh Duong.

In 2025, Binh Duong will start many key transportation projects, of which the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project is expected to start construction on the upcoming Lunar New Year. This is a key transport project of the region, connecting the Southeast with the Central Highlands. This project plays a strategic role when connecting with Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway, contributing to the formation of an inter-regional transport network, shortening the distance between the Southeast and the Central Highlands, facilitating trade and economic development, bringing practical benefits not only to Binh Duong but also to the Southern Key Economic Zone and the Central Highlands provinces. This highway also opens up opportunities for urban, commercial and service development along the route.

The Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project has a total length of more than 52km, of which the section passing through Binh Duong belongs to Thuan An City, Tan Uyen City and districts of Bac Tan Uyen, Phu Giao, Bau Bang.

The Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang highway plays an important role in stimulating local economic development.

Green industrial development

Binh Duong is actively advancing the construction and development of industrial parks in a manner that is green, smart, and environmentally friendly. These industrial parks are designed to be integrated with urban areas for professionals and social housing for low-income residents. This approach creates a balanced access to social infrastructure, healthcare, and educational systems for all social classes.

A prime example of this development is the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park, which has become a model of exemplary growth in Vietnam and has inspired similar initiatives in various localities across the country, thanks to the efforts of the province's leading enterprise, Becamex IDC Corporation. Additionally, Binh Duong has launched a project focused on innovation zones, which includes establishing a science and technology industrial park in Bau Bang district, emphasizing green and smart production.

Up to now, many large corporations in the world have invested in Binh Duong, such as Tokyu, Aeon, Mitsubishi (Japan), Procter&Gamble (USA), Kumho, Daewoo E&C (Korea), Lego, Pandora (Denmark), Sembcorp, Capitaland, Mapletree (Singapore)... Mr. Jung Wonju, Chairman of Daewoo E&C Group (Korea), said Daewoo E&C Co., Ltd. is conducting market research and surveys for potential real estate and urban development projects and looking for investment possibilities in other areas such as construction, infrastructure development, and transportation in Binh Duong province.

In 2025, Binh Duong will continue to increase investment, restructure the economy towards renewing the growth approach, improving competitiveness and sustainable development; focusing on developing digital economy, green economy, circular economy and night economy. In addition, Binh Duong continues to create a favorable environment to attract investment, especially in high-tech and potential industries such as semiconductors and innovation; and encourages businesses to invest in technology research and development.

Besides, Binh Duong focuses on developing industry associated with urban infrastructure and international integration to promote the development of other economic sectors; at the same time, speeding up the progress of major projects, attracting investment in high technology such as semiconductor chips, clean energy, artificial intelligence; developing a suitable industrial park network, especially green and ecological industrial parks, increasing the localization of supporting industries and participating in the global value chain. Binh Duong also prioritizes attracting strategic investors, forming a key economic ecosystem...

Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee: Binh Duong has consistently prioritized and invested significant resources in developing traffic infrastructure and industrial park facilities over the years. The province is well-prepared to meet investors' needs, thereby enhancing cooperation and capitalizing on opportunities brought about by the 4th industrial revolution to attract new foreign investment.
