*Key tasks in administrative reform promoted
On October 16, the Prime Minister's Working Group on Administrative Procedure Reform held the second online meeting with localities to evaluate the situation and results of improving administrative reform. Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, Head of the Prime Minister's Working Group on Administrative Procedures Reform, chaired the meeting. In Binh Duong, Nguyen Van Danh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, sectors, districts, towns and cities attended the online meeting.
Reportedly, 100% of agencies and units have upgraded and completed their information system for handling administrative procedures. Among them, 37 out of 76 agencies and units have fully met functional requirements and technical features, or 48.6% of total. Currently, 15 ministries, sectors and all 63 localities nationwide have completed connection and data sharing between the National Population Database and the Administrative Procedure Resolution Information System.
At the meeting, provincial People's Committee Vice-Chairman Nguyen Van Danh said that Binh Duong has so far had 100% of administrative procedures eligible to provide online public services at level 3 and level 4. From June 1, 2023, the province has converted into a full or partial online public services, with online information provision services that are qualified to not accept paper documents...
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang said that the work of improving administrative reform has so far achieved initial results. He requested ministries, sectors and localities to further carry out the work. *On the afternoon of October 16, provincial Steering Committee for Administrative Reform, Digital Transformation, Project No.06 and Smart City held a conference to evaluate the implementation of important tasks on administrative Reform, digital transformation, Project No.06 and smart city construction; deployed a number of key tasks in the coming time. Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Administrative Reform, Digital Transformation, Project No.06 and Smart City chaired the conference.
At the conference, delegates heard a report on the results of the set of indexes 766, the bottleneck in administrative procedure reform (the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 766/QD-TTg on approving the set of indexes for direction, administration and evaluation about the quality of service to people and businesses in implementing administrative procedures and public services in real time in the electronic environment); provincial Party Committee’s Official Dispatch No.1556-CV, dated October 9, focusing on implementing a number of key tasks on reforming administrative procedures and digital transformation; a plan deploying tasks under functions on administrative reform, digital transformation, Project No.06 and smart city construction.
Delegates also expressed their opinions to clarify achievements, identify shortcomings and causes in implementing administrative Reform, digital transformation, Project No.06 and smart city construction... They proposed appropriate and feasible solutions to rectify, overcome and urgently bring administrative reform, digital transformation, Project No.06 and smart city construction into order, contributing to serving the local political tasks.
Speaking at the conference, provincial People's Committee Chairman Vo Van Minh requested all-level authorities, sectors and localities, especially steering groups and their units to focus on monitoring and drastically implementing administrative reform, digital transformation, Project No.06 and smart city construction; attach special importance to implementing them under the plan, evaluating the process of the implementation, focusing on removing obstacles and closely following reality to have coordination in solutions to ensure the highest results.
Provincial People's Committee Chairman also requested Party committees at all levels to strengthen their leadership and direction role in implementing planned tasks while asking for departments, sectors and localities to soon announce administrative procedures fully, minimize late records and improve the quality of online public services and digitize records.
