Upholding strength of great national unity bloc in building up civilized, modern Ben Cat

Early March 15, the 10^th congress of Ben Cat town’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) for the 2019-2024 tenure entered its 2^nd working day, in attendance of Nguyen Thanh Liem, former Chairman of provincial FFC; Tran Thi Hong Hanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial FFC; leaders of the town, localities; heroic Vietnamese mothers together with 163 official delegates.

In the 2014-2019 tenure, the town’s FFC and its member organizations focused on propagandizing and mobilizing people from all strata to implement the Party’s policies and the State’s laws; well organized activities taking care of people’s lives; boosted a task of mobilizing people from all strata to take part in patriotic emulation movements; mobilized organizations and individuals to build 48 gratitude houses worth more than VND3.3billion, upgraded 70 houses worth VND2.8billion; mobilized over VND2.6billion for the “For the Poor” fund…, contributing to successfully realizing the local targets on socio-economic development, national defence-security, social order and safety.

Le Anh Quy was re-nominated as Chairman of the town’s 10^th FFC for the 2019-2024 tenure. On this occasion, 25 collectives and 46 individuals were also awarded the certificates of merit of the town’s People’s Committee Chairman for their excellent performance in the 2014-2019 period.

*The 13^th congress of Vinh Phu ward’s FFC in Thuan An town for the 2019-2024 tenure has just taken place.

In the 2013-2018 tenure, the ward’s FFC well realized a task of propagandizing and mobilizing people to take part in economic development, expanding the great national unity bloc and effectively realize emulation movements. The ward’s FFC also helped more than 2,000 members get more than VND69billion in loan through many other resources; donated more than 10,000 gifts to poor and policy beneficiary households; built and upgraded 17 “great unity” houses worth more than VND1billion…

At the congress, Nguyen Thi Thao was re-elected as Chairwoman of the ward’s 13^th FFC for the 2019-2014 tenure.
