Provincial Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and their member organizations, have actively promoted the propaganda and mobilization of people to obey the Party's policies and the State's laws. They have implemented various campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, contributing to Party-building and government-building efforts, greatly contributing to the overall development of the province. They have continuously innovated its operations, improving the quality of activities towards grassroots, bringing benefits to people.

As the political, economic and cultural center of the province, in recent years, Thu Dau Mot city has focused on mobilizing resources to build and develop the city towards green, intelligent, civilized and modern urban growth. Along with enhancing the quality of criteria for a first-class city, developing infrastructure and renovating existing urban areas, the city has given priority to building up a cultured-civilized urban lifestyle and achieved many positive results. These successes are the result of the efforts by the entire Party Committee, political system and people, including the active role of the city’s FFCs at all levels.

The city’s FFCs at all levels have actively collaborated with various units and member organizations to promote the local patriotive emulation movements. Notably, they have effectively implemented a project on "Improving the quality of the campaign to build up a cultured and civilized urban lifestyle in Thu Dau Mot city" and the campaign for greening urban areas, aiming at building up a "green - friendly city". Additionally, they and their member organizations have focused on taking care of the poor, providing them with houses through programs, namely "Trade Union Shelter" and "Red Cross Houses", organizing “Zero dong” markets and “Being proud of Vietnamese goods” markets…

According to Truong Thi Thu Hien, Chairwoman of Thu Dau Mot city’s FFC, the city's FFCs at all levels have continuously innovated, improving their quality of propagandizing mobilizing people to actively engage in the patriotic emulation movements and campaigns. They have invested in prominent activities that truly resonate with the people, thereby strengthening the great national solidarity bloc, fostering social consensus, contributing to building and developing a modern, prosperous and civilized Thu Dau Mot city.

Focusing on activities towards grassroots level

Over the past time, provincial FFCs at all levels, in collaboration with their member organizations, have actively mobilized people to participate in many patriotic emulation movements that have brought benefits to people from all strata, contributing to successfully implementing the goals of economic, cultural and social development, maintaining national defense-security and ensuring social order in the province. Especially, in the last term, despite facing numerous challenges, provincial FFCs at all levels have continuously innovated and creatively implemented grassroots activities. Many effective models have mobilized resources from the people and the community, making significant contributions to the local overall development. One of the highlights was the implementation of the campaign “All people uniting to build civilized urban and new-style rural areas” in conjunction with the movement of "The entire province unites to build new-style rural areas” and the project "Mass mobilization for the building of a cultured and civilized lifestyle" for the 2021-2025 period. Accordingly, provincial FFCs at all levels focused on implementing criteria for building civilized urban areas, new-style rural, advanced new-style rural and model new-style rural communes...

During the 2019-2024 period, in addition to State budget resources allocated for building civilized urban and new-style rural areas, provincial FFCs at all levels mobilized hundreds of billions of VND in socialized funds from the community through such practical and concrete actions as contributing working days, donating land and works, providing financial support for upgrading concrete roads, installing street lights, planting trees... Additionally, provincial FFCs at all levels focused on social welfare in diverse and effective forms, contributing to reducing poverty and improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.

Upholding these achievements, provincial FFCs at all levels and their member organizations have identified their main tasks for the 2024-2029 new tenure. These include strengthening the great national unity bloc and ensuring that FFCs at all levels serve as the hub for fostering unity, enhancing the people's right to mastery, acting as a bridge between people and the Party. Additionally, they will further launch and improve the quality and effectiveness of the patriotic emulation movements among the people, intensify grassroots-level activities, strengthen self-management and solidarity in residential areas…
